Right now I’m reading Jewish Literacy by Rabbi Joseph Telushkin. I’m in Part Three, Section 85, on page 162. The entire book has over 700 pages including the extensive Index but is surprisingly light-weight. While a lot of the material that I’ve been reading has to do with History, I find it quite easy to read, easy to follow and a joy to read.
At the same time I’m reading The Five Books of Miriam-A Woman’s Commentary on the Torah by Ellen Frankel Ph.D and Finding God by Rifat Sonsina and Daniel B. Syme
On my shelves but not yet read are Introduction to Judaism-A Source Book by lots of authors, Choosing Judaism by Lydia Kukoff, and The Jewish Home by Daniel B. Syme
